Is this a general warning or is it the result of having been copied without your permission? I thought the written word was copyright of the writer without it being stated, rather like a photographer has the rights to his photos regardless of the subject. Am I wrong? You've got me a little worried now.

Hi WM, no, I've had to put it on because, following the excerpts from my blog which were printed in the Daily Mail, it's been reproduced without my permission on a certain very unpleasant French forum. It's sad but there are some truly nasty people out there who have no respect for the individual or their intellectual property. I've also had to remove certain blog posts that they've been copying. I've started my new blog @ www.homeiswherethemarmiteis.blogspot.com so pop over when you have a minute. It's early days and I'm still setting it all up but it'll be nice to see you.
