Just a quick message to say that I'm poorly sick on two chairs. I've had a nasty cough and have managed to tear a muscle in my side. It's incredibly painful and has left me temporarily disabled and typing (or in fact anything) is like being hit very hard with a large baseball bat.
I will return soon with lots of fun posts on the 12 foot Christmas tree, Fun at the Forum, the world's most expensive water leak and, of course....... The Piano Exam (which went pretty well so thanks for all you good wishes which I will respond to when it hurts less!)

Coughs and torn muscles don't mix - thinking of you. Get well soon.

Oodles of sympathy and chicken soup or whatever helps (oh it was the ready-made Christmas and delightful santa's helpers you wanted? sorry, all out of them). Perhaps offspring can play wonderful piano music for you?
Sorry to hear about torn muscle. I did that once when I had a leg in plaster and sat down to type twisted around for over 3 hours. Could not untwist! Had 3 weeks of not being able to lie down to sleep - absolute hell. Get better soon and try not to laugh - ouch!
We've got the same dreaded cough at the moment. In fact I was at the supermarket yesterday and started coughing and within seconds there were answering coughs from around the store - it was like a herd of wildebeest trying to communicate with each other.
Get well soon - go on, and come back and tell us about the exam
Sounds horrid for you... get better soon, you'll need to, so as you can cope with Christmas!
I hope you are better soon and that it doesn't spoil christmas
Was it the cough that caused the tear? Poor you. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Hope you're feeling better soon VLiF and a Happy Christmas and a New Year if you can manage it. I'm also struck down with the terrible cough and cold..Blogthatmamax
Leomonie ... Hope you are feeling much better and that DS DD & CH are feeding you lots of Festive Delights. Cant wait to see picks of the Chrimbo Tree. Have a lovely time and Get Well real Soon xXx ..
Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. Yes, it was the cough that tore the muscle, that made me hurt, that stopped me typing, that made me sad, and something about the House that Jack Built!
Feeling much better now but can still only lie flat on my back. Not great with a cough! VLiF
